Sources & freshness: Fee figures compiled from Northwest Registered Agent’s state annual-fee index, cross-checked against BusinessAnywhere (checked October 2026 against state filing offices) and Shopify’s LLC cost roundup. Researched October 19, 2026. Where sources disagreed, the figure closest to the Secretary of State schedule is used and the disagreement is noted. State-specific processing times and thresholds are attributed to the guides named in the text above.
